What we collect, why we collect it, and how to remove your data at any time.
JobJudo collects only what we need to run the service and only what you give us voluntarily. We don't sell your data. We use a handful of well-known third-party tools (Formspree, Beehiiv, Google Fonts) to operate the site and newsletter. You can ask us to delete everything we have about you at any time, and we will.
If you're in a hurry: we collect your name and email when you contact us or subscribe to the newsletter. We use them to reply to your message and send you the letter. We don't sell or rent your data. Email privacy@jobjudo.org to remove yourself or ask anything.
"JobJudo," "we," "us," and "our" refer to JobJudo, the methodology and platform co-founded by Sam Williams and Juan Carlos Jimenez. Reach us at hello@jobjudo.org or via the contact page. For privacy-specific requests, use privacy@jobjudo.org.
We do not use your information for behavioral advertising. We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not rent or share your information with marketers.
Operating a small business means we rely on a few external tools. Each one only sees the slice of data it needs to do its job, and each one has its own privacy policy that governs what they do with that data.
Our marketing site uses minimal cookies. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Some essential cookies may be set by our hosting provider for site security. If we enable analytics, we use cookieless privacy-respecting tools (like Plausible) wherever possible.
If you become a paying member, the community platform (Skool) will set its own cookies to keep you logged in and to deliver the product. Those cookies are governed by their privacy policy linked above.
You have the right, at any time, to:
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@jobjudo.org. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, to keep your data safe from impersonation.
You have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe we have mishandled your data.
You have rights under the CCPA / CPRA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected:
JobJudo's content is designed for college students (typically 18+) and the parents helping them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@jobjudo.org and we will delete the data.
For users aged 13 to 17, we encourage parent or guardian involvement, especially before purchasing a subscription.
We're based in the United States, and the tools we use (Formspree, Beehiiv, Stripe, etc.) primarily process data in the United States. If you're accessing the service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different privacy laws than your own. By using JobJudo, you consent to this transfer.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. The site is served over HTTPS, payment information is handled by a PCI-compliant processor, and we limit access to personal data to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify newsletter subscribers and members by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
