Plain English. Read this before you subscribe. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
JobJudo is a methodology, a curriculum, and a community we provide to help college students and recent grads run a better job search. We do our part well. You're responsible for doing the actual work. We can't and don't guarantee specific job offers or salary outcomes. New members start with a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. Cancel anytime.
If you only read one section: we teach the system, you run it. Outcomes depend on your effort and your circumstances. Start with a 7-day free trial. Cancel anytime, before or after.
By accessing or using jobjudo.org, subscribing to The JobJudo Letter, joining the JobJudo community, or purchasing a coaching session, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
If you're using the service on behalf of someone else (for example, a parent purchasing a subscription for a student), you confirm that you have the authority to bind that person to these terms.
"JobJudo," "we," "us," and "our" refer to JobJudo, co-founded by Sam Williams and Juan Carlos Jimenez. You can reach us at hello@jobjudo.org or via the contact page.
JobJudo provides:
We may change, add, or remove parts of the service over time as we improve the methodology and respond to what works. We'll do our best to communicate meaningful changes in advance.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you're between 13 and 17, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian to subscribe to a paid plan. Parents purchasing on behalf of a minor confirm that they have authority to do so.
To access the curriculum and community, you'll create an account on Skool (our community platform). You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Don't share your account with anyone.
Subscription pricing is listed on the website at the time you subscribe. We may change pricing in the future, but existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price increase that affects them.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, contact support@jobjudo.org or use the cancellation link in your account settings. After cancellation, you'll retain access for the remainder of your billing period, but won't be charged again.
7-day free trial. New members start with a 7-day free trial that grants full access to the curriculum and community. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the end of the trial, no charge ever applies. If you do not cancel by the end of the trial, your subscription will begin and your payment method will be charged the standard monthly rate.
Once your paid subscription begins, future charges are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time and retain access through the end of your current billing period.
Coaching sessions are refundable up to 24 hours before the scheduled session. Within 24 hours of the session, no refund is available, but the session can be rescheduled once at no charge.
All curriculum, lesson materials, templates, scripts, and original writing are owned by JobJudo and protected by copyright. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial job search. You may not redistribute, resell, or share them with non-members.
If you submit work inside the community (resumes, cover letters, posts, comments, etc.), you retain ownership. You grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content inside the community and, with your separate permission, to share anonymized excerpts or named success stories for marketing purposes.
We will never share your personally identifiable success story or any of your private materials without your written consent.
To keep the community useful for everyone, you agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with refunds at our discretion for the unused portion of a subscription.
This is important enough to call out clearly: we do not and cannot guarantee that you will receive any specific job offer, internship, or salary. The methodology dramatically improves your odds and equips you to run a better search. Whether you receive an offer depends on your effort, your circumstances, your timing, the labor market, and many other factors outside our control.
The student stories featured on our site are real outcomes from real students who used the methodology, but they are illustrative, not promises. Your results will vary based on what you actually do.
The service is provided "as-is" and "as-available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific result will be achieved.
The methodology and content are educational. They are not legal, financial, medical, or professional career counseling advice for your specific situation. For high-stakes individual decisions, consult a qualified professional.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobJudo, its founders, and its representatives are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) $100 USD or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobJudo and its founders from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
The service relies on third-party providers (such as Skool, Beehiiv, Stripe, Formspree, and others). Your use of those providers is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or service quality of these third parties, though we choose our partners carefully.
You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or otherwise harm the community. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, etc.) will continue to apply.
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify subscribers and members by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing any legal claim, please email hello@jobjudo.org so we can try to resolve it informally first. We mean this. Most issues can be sorted out by talking.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented at the point of purchase (for coaching, specifically), are the entire agreement between you and JobJudo regarding the service.
Questions about these terms? Email hello@jobjudo.org or use the contact page.
